Travelling to France during the lockdown? Remember to bring your declaration!

Are you employed as a frontier worker in France? Are you in the freight transport industry and travelling to France for this reason? In that case you must be able to present a declaration justifying the reasons for your trip.

France is currently observing its fourth week of lockdown. Moreover, our neighbouring country has implemented stricter measures than those in Belgium. Only essential travel is permitted, leisure activities are restricted to within a one-kilometre radius of your home and anyone leaving the house must carry a declaration to explain why they are out and about.

Foreigners journeying to France, such as freight transporters or frontier workers, must also be able to present a declaration of their reasons for travelling. This form is available to download in French or English below.
