Nico was a highly cherished person within our organization and far beyond. His enthusiasm and dedication were infectious, and he embodied the DNA of our organization like no other. His passion and commitment will have a lasting impact on us, and he will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts are with Nico’s wife, children, family, and friends. His loss leaves a significant void.

It is with a heavy heart that we had to say goodbye to Nico Callewaert on June 4th. As a partner, Business Line Director Special Services, and director of Le Doux & Mortelmans, Nico was undoubtedly one of the pillars of Vandelanotte.
Nico started his career at Vandelanotte on May 14, 2007, in our insurance branch at the former Finaco (now Le Doux & Mortelmans). Thanks to his enormous drive, work ethic, and commercial flair, he managed to transform what was then a limited activity into a dynamic team of more than 30 employees.
But Nico's importance to Vandelanotte goes far beyond that. As a partner and Business Line Director, he was responsible for leading and developing all our “Special Services,” such as Tax & Legal, as well as Human Resources Services and Sustainability.
As a leader, he embodied the values of our organization. His genuine commitment means that many of us lost not only a business partner or good colleague but also a friend. His creativity and open mind enabled him to always see and seize new opportunities, allowing our offer to clients to grow further. But his greatest quality was undoubtedly the fact that he helped many of our people grow. By motivating them, challenging them, giving them confidence, and supporting them where needed, he made them and Vandelanotte better.
Nico was, of course, also and above all a family man. He leaves behind his wife, Rebecca, and two daughters, Linde and Jasmijn. Our thoughts are with them.
Nico, thank you for everything. We will miss you and your typical infectious laugh.
