One-off coronavirus grant for businesses in the Brussels-Capital Region

In the context of the current coronavirus crisis, the Brussels-Capital Region has allocated a budget of EUR 150 million to assist businesses in difficulty.

One-off coronavirus grant for businesses in the Brussels-Capital Region

The budget will be used, among other things, to give a financial boost to companies that have been hardest hit by the coronavirus measures. They can claim a one-off grant of EUR 4,000. The premium is for businesses, shops and establishments that have had to mandatorily close down, do not employ more than 50 employees and are active in a certain sector. The grant can be applied for per active establishment in the Brussels-Capital Region with a maximum of 5 establishment units.

The application must be submitted by 18 May 2020 using the form provided for this purpose. This form will be online on April 7. Taking into account the limited budget and the fact that the grants are allocated according to the first-in-first-out principle, it is important to submit the application as soon as possible. In this context, we advise you to collect and request the required enclosures in advance so that the application can be submitted as soon as the form is published.

  • RIB (Relevé d'identité bancaire) certificate of the company - this is a bank certificate stating the name of the bank, the name of the company and its contact details and the account number of the company. The RIB certificate must be requested from the bank, and this can usually be done online.
  • Most recent VAT declaration.
