Tom Vandenbroucke

Profile

As an Accountant-Tax Advisor, Tom Vandenbroucke is responsible for accounting departments in the Kortrijk, Bruges, Ghent and Tournai regions. In addition, Tom manages several client portfolios.

Education

Tom obtained the Bachelor of Accountancy, with the option of Taxation, at the Katholieke Hogeschool Zuid-West Vlaanderen's HANTAL department in Kortrijk. In addition, he also obtained the Tax Advisor diploma at Syntra West and he acquired the title of Accountant-Tax Advisor at the Institute of Accountants and Tax Advisors. Tom is continually undergoing further training and is also regularly teacher at our Vandelanotte Academy.

Experience

After his studies, Tom started his career at Vandelanotte. Initially he started as a File Manager in the office in Bruges. He further expanded his career at Vandelanotte to become Director of the office in Veurne and later of the office in Bruges. Tom has been a partner at Vandelanotte since 2008 and is operationally responsible for the accounting departments in the Kortrijk, Bruges, Ghent and Tournai regions.

Lectures

In 2012, Tom was a guest speaker at the Arteveldehogeschool in Ghent in the SME management course.

Other professional commitments

Tom is a member of the Institute of Accountants and Tax Consultants and is a member of De Hanze (International Club of Flanders - World Trade Centers Association). In addition, he has been a quality assessor at the Institute of Accountants and Tax Consultants since 2015 and he is a member of the strategic Caseware committee.
