Nikolas Vandelanotte

Profile

As one of the managing partners, Nikolas Vandelanotte is responsible for the daily management of Vandelanotte. In addition, he supervises several clients as a Company Auditor and Accountant.

Education

Nikolas obtained a master's degree in Law from the Catholic University of Leuven. He also obtained a master's degree in European Business Law at the Catholic University of Nijmegen.

Experience

After a short period at the 'New Emissions' department of the Kredietbank, Nikolas started working at Vandelanotte. As a company lawyer and auditor (since 2006), he has built up extensive experience in the auditing of mainly family businesses and non-profit institutions. In 2012 Nikolas also obtained the title of Accountant. In addition to advising several clients, he also focuses on the issues surrounding family succession and guidance on the transfer of businesses.

Publications

Today, Nikolas is editor-in-chief of Vandelanotte News (the Vandelanotte newsletter) and has several publications on tax and company law to his name. Nikolas also contributes to “De Gids voor Vennootschappen”  and wrote 'Samenleven en Fiscus' (Kluwer) in 2010 and ‘Praktische Gids voor Vereffenaars’ (Kluwer) in 2012.

Lectures

As a Plato mentor, Nikolas gives lectures on family succession. He also gives regular lectures on topics such as 'valuing companies' and 'company liquidation'.
