As an Accountant-Tax Advisor, Jan Pets supports various departments within Vandelanotte.

Education

Jan obtained the Bachelor of Accountancy - Option Taxation degree at the University College Ghent in Aalst. Afterwards, he pursued various training courses and acquired the title of Accountant-Tax Advisor at the Institute of Accountants and Tax Advisors.

Experience

After his studies, Jan started his career at the Economic Council for East Flanders (EROV). Initially he started out as a file manager at the Fimico Tax & Legal office in Dendermonde. After the merger between Fimico and Vandelanotte, he continued his career at Vandelanotte and became Director of the office in Dendermonde, and later in Zele.

Since his youth, Jan has built up the necessary knowledge, experience and drive in the field of family businesses. Since 2015 Jan has been a partner at Vandelanotte and he supports the growth of the group's accountancy departments. He is interested in ICT, intellectual property, transport, logistics and wholesale, consultancy, media and real estate.

Other professional commitments

Jan is guest speaker about various topics on editorial boards, academic associations and juries. He monitors and implements new developments in the profession and is a member of the Institute of Accountants and Tax Consultants (IAB), the Round Table Belgium, the BNI and Netwekkers.
