Jan Degryse works as a partner in the Audit department.

Education

Jan graduated as a commercial engineer from the Catholic University of Leuven. He then pursued an additional course of studies in accountancy and auditing. He later graduated from the Instituut voor Fiscale Wetenschappen V.P.O.O in partnership with VLEKHO in Fiscal Sciences.

Experience

Jan started his career as an auditor at Van Cauter-Saeys & Co in 1993. He was sworn in as a company auditor in 1997. He is also a lecturer at Syntra, VIZO, UNIZO, SBC. On 1 January 2001 Jan became Managing Director of Van Cauter-Saeys & Co and in early 2004 he became a partner. In October 2015, Jan became a partner at Vandelanotte.

Lectures

Jan is a speaker at many seminars. He gives presentations about sole proprietorship versus the company, about the valuation of a company and about non-profit legislation, as well as other topics.

Memberships

As a company auditor, Jan is a member of the Institute of Company Auditors.
