Jacques joined Vandelanotte on completion of his studies. He started his career as an accountant with Roger Vandelanotte, rising through the ranks to the post of Director of the Accountancy Department at the Kortrijk office. Today he is a partner within the Vandelanotte Group.

Jaques is a member of the Institute of Accountants and Tax Advisors (IAB). He is also a member of the BAB, the professional association for accountants, company auditors, and fiscal professionals.
