Jan Boeye works as a Company Auditor in the Antwerp office.

Education
Jan attained a Masters in Applied Economic Sciences at the Universitaire Faculteiten St. Ignatius (UFSIA-UA) in Antwerp, majoring in Accountancy.

Experience
On completing his studies, Jan began his career as a company auditor on placement to Anton Boeye. He completed this placement in 1980 and qualified as a Company Auditor in the same year. In the same year he decided to enter into a partnership with colleague Leo Van Gulck, setting up an auditors practice, Boeye Van Gulck & Co.

In 1986 the partnership was expanded with the intake of former staff of Fiduciaire Moores Rowland, with the aim of transforming the regional audit office into a nationwide operation. Boeye Geddes Van Gulck & Co were also appointed as the Belgian auditing branch of Moores Rowland International. Following a break-up of the partnership in 1998 and the establishment of Boeye Cauwenbergh Van Gulck & Co company auditors, they decided to join up with a larger partner in order to meet the demand for increasingly complex service provision. They chose to go with Vandelanotte, leading to a merger in 2008. Jan has been a partner in Vandelanotte since 2008, and is responsible for audit accounts at the Antwerp office.

Memberships
Jan is deputy chairman of the regional professional association, the ACVA. For the last five years he has also been a member of the Dutch-language jury for the final professional competency examinations for the Institute of Company Accountants.
